Lookman Hat Trick Gives Atalanta Europa League Title

Bayer Leverkusen's 51-game unbeaten run came to an end on Wednesday as Ademola Lookman scored a stunning hat-trick for Atalanta who won the Europa League. The German side had not lost a match since February 2023, but Lookman's goals proved too much for them on the night.
Lookman opened the scoring in the first half with a brilliant solo effort, before adding two more goals in the second half to complete his hat-trick. Atalanta held on to their lead to secure their first major European trophy since 1963.
"It's an amazing feeling," said Lookman after the match. "I'm so happy for the team and for the fans. We've worked so hard all season and we deserve this."
Atalanta's victory is a major upset, as Bayer Leverkusen were the heavy favorites to win the Europa League. However, Lookman's hat-trick proved to be the difference on the night and Atalanta are now the champions of Europe.
