Côte d'Ivoire, officially the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, is a nation situated on the southern coast of West Africa. It is bordered by Liberia and Guinea to the west, Burkina Faso and Mali to the north, Ghana to the east, and the Gulf of Guinea to the south.

Geographical Features

Côte d'Ivoire covers an area of approximately 322,463 square kilometers (124,503 square miles). Its topography is predominantly flat and undulating, with a few mountainous regions in the western and northern parts of the country. The coastal region is characterized by sandy beaches and lagoons.
